These are such an easy dinner to pull together, especially if you have some time to marinate. I try to marinate overnight so the flavors really have time to meld. The ingredient list is short!
Sumac Chicken Thighs

This chicken is perfect in a pita and it is so easy to put together! The longer you have to marinade the chicken the better. I prefer overnight.
- 8-9 chicken thighs
- 1/4 c olive oil
- 2 T sumac
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, ( I used one full fresh stalk)
- 1 small onion
- 1 juice of lemon
Add all the ingrdents into a baking dish and mix together with your hands. Let marinade overnight.
After you are done marinading your meat take it out of the refrigerator and allow to come to room temperature, about 30 minutes. Meanwhile preheat your oven to 425.
Place your thighs on a lined baking sheet with all of the garlic and onions too.
Place in the oven for 20 minutes!
