Why you should start your day with this avocado toast:

Research has been found after, a 30 year study with 110,000 health professionals, that substituting avocado instead of dairy or red meat can help reduce the risk for cardiovascular disease by 22% (American Heart Association, 2022).

Topping your avocado toast with microgreens will add a litany of health benefits. They have a dense supply of phytochemicals, and are packed with more nutrients than full grown vegetables (ebert, 2022). Plus they taste great with avocado.

Typically a hearty grain bread is where you should focus your attentions but every now and then a nice sourdough bread does the trick. The fermentation of the sourdough bread leads to an easier absorption for those who normally have a difficult time with bread (Shakelton, 2022).

The egg is optional however if you are hungry the extra protein can be satisfying.
